Say Hello to My Christmas Socks :)

Sweater and Skirt from Marshalls.  Belt from Charming Charlie.  SOCKS from Claire's.

Fashionistas meet Carol's Christmas Socks, Carol's Christmas Socks meet Fashionistas!
'Tis the season for fantastically comfy sweaters and incredibly fun socks!  I may not be wearing the "horrible" Christmas sweater but I did get my share of holiday pattern on my socks.  The holidays are a joyous time with family and friends and fun socks.  I find it astonishing that people still think it's cool that my name is Carol and Christmas songs are called Christmas Carols.  It doesn't bother me, it's just funny when my friends turn and look or point at me every time a song says Carol.  I even had a teacher over enthusiastically point it out a couple years ago in seventh grade.  We were reading A Christmas Carol and she turns to me and says, "Carol - A Christmas Carol - Get it!!!!"  It was thoroughly entertaining.. It's not even an uncommon name...Anyway enough of my silly rambling.

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed taking the pictures.  I was pretty much jumping and dancing around.  :)

Oh! Oh! BTW, I twisted my hair last night and this how it looked when I took out the twists this morning.
I love it!
What do you think?

The Best Friend Anyone Could Ask For :)

Say hello to my best friend Dana...she's pretty cool.  We've known each other our whole lives and consider ourselves sisters.  Our mom's are best friends too, cute right??  We got really bored and had no transportation at the time.  We took a somewhat unexciting walk, but still had a lot of fun. We also went to goodwill, a movie, and came back home and ate mac & cheese.  It was a chill night but sometimes that's nice.

This was a fun outfit for me, seeing as I usually wear skirts and dresses. This felt a little more casual and laid back. I borrowed Dana's brown boots, and I absolutely love them! After all the bright, bold, solid colors I’ve worn lately I really enjoyed the chill earth tones (with my red suspenders of course!).
